I welcome all visitors that visit our website. Our Own English High School, Dubai was founded in 1968 and started with 27 students and 3 teachers in the Bastakia area of old Dubai and has grown immeasurably to over 7,000 students with over 300 teachers.
The school has been consistently recognized as one of the top schools in Dubai, by offering quality education. Our Own, Dubai has proven to be and continues to work towards providing quality education to our students and towards the ultimate goal of making educational programmes the absolute best they can be.
In its 43rd year, the school is highly regarded by the general public, as it is by its large community of Parents and Pupils.
Our institution has won universal regard as it has served well and with consistency. It is appropriate to be aware that good quality is carefully nurtured, rather than accidentally caught.
In the recently conducted inspection by DSIB / KHDA, our school has been given a good rating with a few outstanding features. In fact, out of 58 categories we were rated, we received 9 Outstanding, 27 Good and the rest were rated as Acceptable.
Our Own, Dubai has been known for setting high standards, the quality and teaching in all 208 classrooms has always been of the highest order ensuring that the learning objectives meet high standards.
