Ms. Dincy John

Ms. Dincy John holds a master’s degree in chemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Mumbai. She began her journey with GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai in 2013 as a Grade 2 teacher. With her consistent dedication, strong classroom practices, and passion for teaching, she was appointed as the Assistant Supervisor for Grade 2 in 2015. Continuing her leadership journey, she was promoted as the Teaching and Learning Supervisor for Grade 1 in 2018 and has now been appointed as the Grade 2 Supervisor.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dincy has been recognised as an outstanding educator with excellent classroom management skills and a deep commitment to student development. She is passionate about working with young learners and takes great joy in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Her approach focuses on supporting students of all abilities, ensuring each child is guided to reach their full potential.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, she was also entrusted with managing school photography, including class and staff photographs for the school magazine. She also serves as the Family First Ambassador, further contributing to strengthening the school community.

As a leader, Ms. Dincy strongly believes in nurturing and empowering her team, fostering collaboration, and continuously enhancing teaching and learning practices. A focused and determined individual, she strives to make a meaningful difference within the classroom and inspires her team to do the same.
